What began in 1975 as the Trader John Auction Co., today, is the John T. Henry Auction Co.
Nearly 30 years ago we alternated our auctions between a location on Hwy 501 and our horse barn
on the family farm in Conway. Our customers still remember buying quilts just to keep them warm.
After losing the building and contents to a fire in 1993, we rebuilt on the same site, a 7,500 sq. ft.
climate controlled building and changed our business name to John T. Henry Auction Co.
We are still family owned, operated, and inspired. Indeed, our two children, Lisa and John, were
raised in this business and now our two grandchildren, Caroline and Drake, also have a large
extended "auction family". We are pleased that our son John has now joined our Auction Co as an
Auctioneer.
